Peak light technology

Light Peak is a fiber optic device, using the controller chip and optical modules for transferring data. From the electrical signal and then converted into light received by the sensor and return into electrical signals.

Peak Light 2 X promises faster speeds than USB 3.0. Imagine, reaching a maximum transfer speed of 10Gbps to 100Gbps even have the potential to speed development in the area is equivalent to sending content to mobile Blu-ray player within 30 seconds.

Intel plans to sell the FO cable, but cheaper. Can be used to transfer data from the notebook and the hard drive, or mobile phone to the desktop PC. This was revealed at a meeting of the Intel Developer Forum - IDF in San Francisco. FOR cable is what will replace the current wire technology.
